After I read this post [1], something occurred to me...
Most of those tshirts are great, but there was one missing...StackOverflow's!
And so, after reading that post, I got a bit creative and put together these examples of StackOverflow t-shirts:
So tell me people, if this t-shirt or any StackOverflow t-shirt was actually produced, would You wear it?
Would you show how proud you are of this website, and what a blessing it is?
What are your ideas of producing a better StackOverflow t-shirt?
I am now thinking of actually producing such a shirt and wear it proudly to work.
Altough the above images portray tshirts, I agree that it's best to print on polo shirts...more professional looking ;-)

[update] Reduced the size of the logo of the black shirt.
Put this on the back! =)

How about making a "geek" t-shirt that isn't either black or white.
There are other colours people.
I definitely would - tons of times better than wearing those lousy .NET T-shirts they give out at microsoft events.
Better if it was a polo-shirt though.
It'd be nice to get one when you reach 10K rep, smt like "stackoverflow Trusted Dude"
I would wear it only if my reputation were printed in it (and updated in real-time of course).
Oh, it has to say "This t-shirt is not programming related" under the SO logo.
I'd wear one, but I wouldn't buy one.
I would. However, to wear it to work, I would need either a polo or a button-up.
Jeff and Joel, there is definitely a money-making opportunity here! CafePress could provide the shirts, mugs, etc. Geek swag is something that I know that I love to spend money on.
I'd buy one if it had SkeetOverflow [1] on the back.
[1] http://stackoverflow.com/questions/303954/how-to-get-over-200-reputation-points-every-day#304024The only requirement that I would have is that the proceeds go to benefit SO.
Make the logo and text smaller. When it's that big it makes the shirt look cheap.
I prefer black color with big logo on the front (right-top corner) and the site name on the back (top). Sorry, but can't produce a picture to show up my thoughts.
For a t-shirt, the overflow logo on the breast pocket and "stackoverflow" across the back.
For a polo, I agree that a small design is best. Maybe the logo with "stackoverflow" underneath in smaller text so it's not much wider than the logo.
Color-wise, I avoid both white and black; they project "cheap" to me - the kind of thing you get for free at a tech show because the company gets them made and printed for $1.50 in Southeast Asia. Plus, white shirts discolor quickly and easily. Most of my shirts are in the tan or blue color ranges.
I wouldn't wear if you just put a logo in it. IMHO logo is quite crap as well.
I think it'd be so much better if you focus on fun stuff such as :
I asked 352 question in stackoverflow but no one gave a crap.
or
My stackoverflow badge : "Worst Question Ever"
Sorry for my lack a sense of humour but I think you got the idea.
How about something super-geeky like:
(*Me).addiction[0]=StackOverflow;
...or maybe just: Me->addiction[0]=StackOverflow; =)
Maybe the "Me" could be personalized, for a nominal fee of a few hundred Rep?
Stack Overflow T-Shirt?
def StackOverflowTShirt():
print "stackoverflow.com"
StackOverflowTShirt()
Only catch is, it doesn't really say what Stack Overflow [1] actually is. And if anyone actually runs the code, it will cause a stack overflow [2]...
[1] http://stackoverflow.com/My vote goes in favor of the black one.
I would prefer a black polo shirt with the stackoverflow logo stitched on the front and the URL stitched on the sleeve.
And, yes, I would wear it. Often.
What would be truly awesome is an electronic T with an upvote/downvote counter that really worked.
I'd wear it. I'm gonna add this to my Amazon Universal Wish List.
I think stackoverflow logo is really nice.
It's a very nice idea :-)
About the color, I prefer white - just like the website.
BSOD (Stackoverflow at Kernel)
I'm not a fan of branded polo shirts. For work, I just wear dress clothes; t-shirts are for expressing my personality.
I like the one on the left, though I'm not attached to black or white.
Why not make a few versions so people can pick what they like?
Wait, no pocket protector [1]? Oh, wait: No POCKET?
In all seriousness, I prefer shirts with the logo on the heart, so the black one is nice, although the logo is too big I think. But yes, we need SO propaganda materials!
[1] http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocket_protectorI'd want just the logo really big front and center on white or black, and I'd definitely wear one
Put the logo in the center of a light camo short sleeve (greens or greys) and put a rounded rectangle around it. Or, instead of the camo, a baseball jersey might look good. On the breast of a buttoned up gas station shirt sounds cool, too.

Sell tshirts that have your badges on them, give each badge a little logo (cartoon skull for necromancer). It could be like girlscouts, or the bottle cap badges from Calvin and Hobbes G.R.O.S.S [1].
[1] http://www.geocities.com/hoffler%5Fb/gross.htmlI saw a great shirt that just included a badge on the front. Something that looked like the much asked for 'Bounty Hunter' badge with a bronze circle. It was very simple, yet effective. 'Classic' was what I thought when I saw it, and 'why didn't I think of that!' I will post it when i find it and give appropriate credit.
edit:
brent ozar has put a couple shirts on zazzle.com - he will get the commision, not me - that feature a reputation, or, as i was hoping, a badge. His idea was ' Fastest Gun [1]'.
