Thank you for your confidence in our abilities! But have you looked at the Stack Overflow Help Center [1]?

Even though we get a lot of IT/network/computer/technical questions here, Stack Overflow is meant to be first and foremost a programmer's resource.

Other avenues more focused to your topic can give you a much better answer than a munching bunch of programmers. It's also likely that your non-programming question may be downvoted, closed, and in some cases marked "offensive."

It's not that we hate you, it's just that we're programmers and we like to keep our corn pops separate from our cocoa puffs [2].

In that vein, where can you turn to? What forums can people go to to ask the questions that are off topic here?

@random Curse you and your poetic edit comments! How can I possibly roll that back without becoming a roach myself? (nice question clean up, thanks for the work!) - Adam Davis
You should totally change the accepted answer on this, Adam =) - jadarnel27

We have a very good listing of all StackExchange sites where you can ask the questions: http://stackexchange.com/sites

All the names of the sites are pretty much self-explanatory. If not, you can just visit the site and get the idea about that site.

So in terms of your question, find a site where your question fits in (since StackOverflow is more into Code-related).

Happy StackExchanging ;)
